All athletes MUST familiarise themselves with these rules before submitting their entry.
Grade 7 - 14 (age as at 31/12/2018)
Grade 12 - 14 athletes may also enter the following U16 events: 300m Hurdles, 2000m Steeplechase, Pole Vault, Triple Jump, Javelin & Hammer
Note, if you are only entering U16 events, select the U16 Entry Type, otherwise select your age grade (Grade 12, Grade 13 or Grade 14).
- Entry fee: $7.00 per event
U17, U18, U19, U20 and Senior Grades (age as at 31/12/2019)
- Entry fee: $25.00 covers all events
Senior grades only: When entering an event you will be asked to put in a Qualification Standard. This is your season best from 1st April 2018 to the day you are entering. If you are entering an event you haven't competed in this season you will need to enter a personal best.
When asked for your Club Name please copy the name of your club from the list on the Club Names tab. This must be correct as the system will not accept your entry otherwise. If you are from out of Auckland please use your centre name which can also be found on the Club Names tab.
Close of Entries
Entries close at midnight Monday 21st January 2019. After this date the online entry system will automatically cease operation. NO Late entries will be accepted under any circumstances.
Refunds will not be issued for entries under any circumstances.
Event Start Lists
Event start lists will be available on the Athletics Auckland website as soon as possible after entries close. Athletes MUST inform Athletics Auckland immediately if there have been any errors with their entry or if they wish to withdraw from any events.
Timetable of Events
The final timetable will be available on the Athletics Auckland website as soon as possible after entries close. It is the responsibility of each athlete to ensure they are aware of the start time of their events.
Bib Numbers and Uniform
Athletes will be issued with two competition numbers. Club Uniforms are compulsory as per Athletics New Zealand Supplementary Rule S143.2. Athletes will not be allowed to compete unless correct bib numbers and uniform are worn.
The IAAF 'no false start' rule 162.7 will be applied to this meet.
Check in/Call Room
Times are published in the Technical Regulations for the Championships. These times will be enforced.
Athletics Auckland will enforce the Failure to Participate rule. Scratchings will not be accepted at the call room. If you wish to scratch from an event you must do so at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled start time so events can be re-drawn if required.
